""A Catalogue Of Editions Of The Fathers Of The Church And Ecclesiastical Writers Of The First Thirteen Centuries, And Collections Of Their Fragments, Chronologically Arranged"" is a book written by John Henry Parker and published in 1844. The book is a comprehensive catalogue of the editions of the writings of the early Christian fathers and ecclesiastical writers from the first thirteen centuries of the Christian era. It also includes collections of their fragments, which are arranged chronologically. The book is a valuable resource for scholars and students of early Christian history and theology, as it provides a detailed overview of the available editions of the works of the early Christian writers and their fragments. The author, John Henry Parker, was an English archaeologist, antiquary, and publisher who was known for his works on medieval architecture and the history of the Christian church. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.

Parker's most popular, if not his most profound, work. It includes fresh ideas on Saxon architecture, an article on stained glass by Willement, and (like most of Parker's writings) is charmingly - and accurately - illustrated by Jewitt. John Henry Parker was born in London in 1806. An English scholar, he was interested in the history of architecture and in restoration. After a period spent in Rome, Parker entered the field of classical archaeology. In 1868 he founded the British and American Archaeological Society of Rome. In 1870 he was elected director of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. He died there in 1884.
