- A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting an Athletic Scholarship to the College of Your Dreams
98,95 kr. Every young athlete's dream is to earn a college scholarship. This is especially true today with skyrocketing out of state tuition, not to mention the cost of living expenses for college students. The information in this report will optimize your chances of making the dream of a college scholarship a reality. Scholarship or bust is broken down into four sections.Part one: Self AssessmentDo you have what it takes to earn a starting spot on your team let alone a full athletic scholarship? The report will take you through a brutally honest self assessment questionnaire to help you set realistic goals. It gives you a starting point to see what you may need to do to optimize your chances of earning a scholarship to the school of your dreams. Some people have a longer road than others in order to get to the final destination. Part two: TrainingMajor college athletes are not only genetically gifted but also physically superior. This section describes several drills to develop your own abilities to optimize your chances of success. These drills focus on foot and hand quickness as well as ways to improve your reaction times.Part Three: Mental One of the biggest challenges to achieving any goal is self-doubt. This section covers techniques to maintain focus and eliminate distractions. "The mind always fails before the body"- Arnold SchwarzeneggerPart Four: Who to contactMarketing is critical to getting the exposure you need to get noticed by the schools you are interested in attending. You have done all the preparation needed but now you have to know who to contact and how to do it. This section covers all of these issues in full. Part Five: A success storyThe reason I wrote this book is because I went through this entire process myself to earn a full scholarship to an SEC school. The ideal situation is that you get an offer from the school of your dreams BEFORE you finish high school. I took the longer route and walked-on to the team first. I discuss all the challenges I faced and how I successfully overcame them. The economy today makes it even more challenging to send an aspiring scholar-athlete to college. The costs continue to rise and earning this scholarship will take a huge financial burden off of your parents. My hope is that you utilize the tips in this report and allow your dreams to come true as well as helping your parents out. It's a true win-win!

- Concussions & CTE, Where DO We Go From Here?: Special Equestrian Edition
173,95 kr. Concussions are a part of ALL sports and it may shock you to know that a majority of concussions occur in equestrian events! Polo, rodeos and horse jumping all involve very large and unpredictable animals that weigh thousands of pounds. This unpredictability leads to a variety of injuries from broken bones to even death! In this special equestrian edition of Head Games: Concussions & CTE, Where Do We Go From Here?, the precautions that riders need to take are laid out. While equestrian events are elegant and beautiful, they can also be dangerous. Some of the precautions I cover include the different concussion assessment tools available, the importance of getting baseline assessments, protective gear, training young riders "how to fall" properly and ways to optimize your brain health through nutrition. This provides the rider with every layer of protection if an unfortunate fall takes place. We have to get the message out there that concussions are serious business and need to be treated as such. - Natural Ways to Correct Your Vision Without Drugs or Corrective Lenses
228,95 kr. What some people have said about the information in this book: "I had to take my driver's test and Dr. DeWitt gave me some hints on how to improve my vision. Palming and the eye-roll exercise are my favorite! I have to say that it's positively been improved. At the test, I had to read three eye charts. One with both eyes open, then each individually. I got a perfect score on all three thanks to Dr. DeWitt and these exercises!"-Maya 65 "I paid $1,000 for my glasses but after 2 days of doing the exercises in this book, I could see the fine print during my class without my glasses and was shocked!"-Susan 45 "I've noticed a significant change in only a short time! My optometrist said he's not sure why, but my prescription is too strong for me now! I also love the nutritional tips to keep my eyes strong and healthy for a long time!"-Vinzina 42 5.0 out of 5 stars Who knew?!?Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2015Verified PurchaseDr John Dewitt really knows his stuff. For additional, more specific, information, go to youtube.com/@relaxtoclarity Glasses and contacts are a pain. I tried to wear contact lenses while playing college and professional football and it just doesn't work. I was always getting sweat, dirt or even fingers in my eyes that just became annoying. After my football days, I decided to go on a quest. My mission was to find out if there were any ways to recover vision naturally, without corrective lenses. This book is a summary of what I found. In it I share how I was able to eliminate my glasses completely after ONE DAY! Granted, eventually I had to revisit some of these techniques but that was 2 years later! The majority of what I personally used was from the Bates Method. I am only a satisfied Bates student not a certified Bates practitioner. I wrote this book just to share the information so that it may help those in need. Here is some of what you will discover: Body Movement Exercise One: Sway Exercise Two: Long Swing Exercise Three: Cross-CrawlPalmingSunningCentral fixation Exercise 1: Tibetan Wheel Exercise 2: Snellen Chart Exercise 3: Domino Chart Exercise 4: Edging Eye Oblique StretchNear & FarVisualizationAnalytic seeingNutrition Who is this book for?-Anyone, from 5 to 100 who wishes to make their vision better as it's never too late to do so.-Anyone who has problems with seeing correctly and wants to be able to do so.-Anyone who uses weak, moderate or even strong reading glasses, or even bifocals or trifocals.-Anyone who experiences eye strain, fatigue, or headaches when reading or trying to focus on the computer screen.-Anyone with excellent near-point vision who wishes to keep it that way and save themselves from having to wear glasses.

- The Future is Now: Life-Changing Stem Cell & PRP Breakthroughs!
173,95 kr. The purpose of this book is to educate you on the miraculous regenerative therapies NOW available to everyone! Why would you care? Because, if you or someone you love has been suffering with sore, aching joints... an aching back... or stiff shoulders there is now a solution to: -Get you out of pain -Regain your health and vitality -Maximize your health for the rest of your life Helping you to achieve all three of the above results is my ultimate mission in life. Why am I the one writing this book? My best friend in high school started out as a bitter rival for the cross-town junior high. When we graduated to high school, we became fast friends. He was an obsessed crazy man on the field. Hitting anything and everything that was unfortunate enough to be carrying the football. He played fullback as well and shared just as much punishment on would be defenders as he did when the roles were reversed! I, however, was a late bloomer. While I was tall, at 6'4" I only weighed 195lbs soaking wet. I would ultimately walk-on to the football team at Vanderbilt University and earned a scholarship after my first semester. My friend was laser focused on being the best he could possibly be at football. He wanted to be legendary. That puts a lot of pressure on an eighteen-year-old kid! He would go on to be team captain in the Cotton Bowl and earned first team all-freshman honors in the SWC. As always, I lagged behind and earned 2nd team all SEC at Vanderbilt my Junior year. The events that transpired the year before that are what ultimately propelled me into the profession I am in today. It was our sophomore year. He had suffered an ankle injury and was doing everything he could to get back to playing at a level he expected of himself. We always said that "once you get a bad wheel... it's hard to get back to 100%". That was holding true in his case. One night he was out with friends and decided to call it a night early. This was definitely NOT like him! He proceeded to go back to the alumni's house where he was staying and made the decision to break into their truck and shoot himself with the 22 pistol locked in the glove compartment. This decision changed the trajectory of my life every day since. The WHAT Ifs drive you crazy. What if I had been with him that night? What if he had never injured his ankle? What if he had never had any concussions? When the movie, Concussion, with Will Smith, came out in 2015 I wasn't excited to watch it. I had gone on to play twelve years of professional football after college. It was like I was carrying the torch for my friend who wasn't able to play anymore. When I finally did watch the movie, it worried me... and made me mad. Did my friend suffer from the clouded judgement that multiple concussions and CTE can cause? If there had been a way for him to heal form his ankle injury faster, such as stem cells or other regenerative therapies, would he have still been as down as he obviously had been? The final straw happened about 6 months ago. A former college teammate of mine from Vanderbilt suddenly started offering up all his football memorabilia on Facebook. He wasn't selling it. He was giving it away! Even his old high school photos of him in uniform were up for grabs along with some CFL gear too. Fearing the worst, I called him immediately and even HE admitted that he couldn't think clearly and was forgetting a lot of things. He and his wife would sit down to watch a show and she would remind him they had seen it before but he had no memory of it whatsoever. I knew I had to act. I started by researching everything I could about concussions and CTE. This lead me to writing the book HEAD GAMES: Concussions & CTE, Where do we go from Here? I offered it up as a way to help the warriors on the field from the past and today. I am honored to be a part of the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund and the After the Impact Fund which support retired pro football players as well as Veterans suffering with P

288,95 kr. We have always been told that nutrition is important. Some of us took that to heart and others just shrugged it off. Unfortunately those "shruggers" usually feel the costly effects later in life. In this book, I am going to reveal the foods I discovered during my quest to get clearer vision without glasses or contacts. Some may seem exotic others may seem common. The nutrients in these foods, and the over 50 recipes included, contain vital nutrients to improve vision and even heal damaged eyes.
