123,95 kr. Excerpt: THE secret of life, of abundant life, with its strength, its felicity, and its unbroken peace is to find the Divine Centre within oneself, and to live in and from that, instead of in that outer circumference of disturbances - the clamours, cravings, and argumentations which make up the animal and intellectual man. These selfish elements constitute the mere husks of life, and must be thrown away by him who would penetrate to the Central Heart of things - to Life itself. Not to know that within you that is changeless, and defiant of time and death, is not to know anything, but is to play vainly with the unsubstantial reflections in the Mirror of Time. Not to find within you those passionless Principles which are not moved by the strifes and shows and vanities of the world, is to find nothing but illusions which vanish as they are grasped. He who resolves that he will not rest satisfied with appearances, shadows, illusions shall, by the piercing light of that resolve, disperse every fleeting phantasy, and shall enter into the substance and reality of life. He shall learn how to live, and he shall live. He shall be the slave of no passion, the servant of no opinion, the votary of no fond error. Finding the Divine Centre within his own heart, he will be pure and calm and strong and wise, and will ceaselessly radiate the Heavenly Life in which he lives - which is himself.

- From What We Think We Want, To What We Really Want
108,95 - 118,95 kr. Whatever may be said for creating works that give great narrative to inform, the truth is that sometimes less is more. In the tumultuous times we find ourselves, times of change and for many, uncertainty about the future, it is all too easy to let the appearances around us lead us to stress and confusion. In reality all we seek is peace and happiness, a life filled with joy and prosperity. Often the hardest part of the journey for many is knowing what we really want, finding something to truly aspire to. Without inner peace, the outer circumstances of our lives never become all that we know they should be, the deep pains from our past, or the simple slights that nag at our calm, stay and hold us back. Through transcendence they fall away and life takes on that magical quality that so few find, inner peace and serenity. The price of the book is only one shilling, and it can be carried in the pocket." It was also described by Allen as "A book that will help you to help yourself", "A pocket companion for thoughtful people", and "A book on the power and right application of thought."

In the lives of all the Great Teachers we see a manifestation of that Universal Truth, the majesty and splendor of which is as yet but dimly comprehended by mankind, but which must, during the gradual transformation and transmutation which the accumulating ages shall effect, at last become the possession of all. That Truth, as manifested by the Teachers, was written by them, as it only can be written, in thoughts and deeds of the loftiest moral excellence which have been permanently impressed upon the mind of mankind by their embodiment in preceptial form. It is to the sweet lives and inspiring words of these mighty Teachers that the eyes of a hungering and thirsty world are again being turned, and the Light of Life is being lighted up, the world over, in hearts that are ready to attune themselves to the Eternal Song of Love and Peace. What religions have failed to do, Religion will accomplish; what the Priest has obscured, the Spirit of Truth in the heart of man will make plain, and the world is now finding spiritual healing and refreshment in turning away from traditional and historic accretions, and going back to the pure Fountain of Truth as revealed to them so simply, clearly and beautifully by their blameless Teachers, and which had its inexhaustive spring within themselves. 128,95 kr. Eight Pillars of Prosperity is one of James Allen's last books, first published in 1911. The British born author was a philosophical writer who paved the way for the self help movement with his spiritual and inspirational writings. Eight Pillars of Prosperity guides the reader through the eight qualities a man must strive for in order to achieve true prosperity. The book contains beautiful hand drawn illustrations to enhance this timeless classic in the most exquisite way. Foreword by James Allen: It is popularly supposed that a greater prosperity for individuals or nations can only come through a political and social reconstruction. This cannot be true apart from the practice of the moral virtues in the individuals that comprise a nation. Better laws and social conditions will always follow a higher realisation of morality among the individuals of a community, but no legal enactment can give prosperity to, nay it cannot prevent the ruin of, a man or a nation that has become lax and decadent in the pursuit and practice of virtue. The moral virtues are the foundation and support of prosperity as they are the soul of greatness. They endure for ever, and all the works of man which endure are built upon them. Without them there is neither strength, stability, nor substantial reality, but only ephemeral dreams. To find moral principles is to have found prosperity, greatness, truth, and is therefore to be strong, valiant, joyful and free.

- A Peace That Requires No Hope
88,95 kr. Thought is time. Always of the past as memory. The description of what has happened, not what is happening. Hope is a measurement of time. One hopes to change, but always tomorrow, never now. One must see, hope is a barrier to Truth. Without hope, there is peace. A peace no one would ever hope to leave. Perhaps one can see that it is hope that prevents peace, and is the opposite of faith. From this peace, there is a force of intelligence that takes control, as creation contains no fragment not of itself. Compassion, which is creation, will always care for those without hope. For faith can only walk upright by holding the hand of doubt. From the author, Rob Sidebottom, Sr.: Many years ago, I looked into the sky and the question came, "Why do we call the sky blue?" No answer came. In that moment, another question came, "What else do we only know by name, names we were taught, but did not create.?" Taught from birth what it means to be human by those who could not know, but could only instill their fears in the form of belief. To me, we are born 'God', then given a name and taught to seek ourselves elsewhere. It has not worked. It is my attempt in this book to show that it is not as a man/woman thinketh that makes them. For thought is time and of the past. It is within this concept that one is bound by thought that their Individual Biological Diversity is formed into the collective. This is detrimental to the individual diversity and the collective. For if this diversity is not allowed to live, it causes internal psychological conflict. Since the internal and external are the same movement, the internal must manifest. It does. We call it society.

108,95 kr. Along the highways of Burma there is placed, at regular distances away from the dust of the road, and under the cool shade of a group of trees, a small wooden building called a ârest-houseâ, where the weary traveller may rest a while, and allay his thirst and assuage his hunger and fatigue by partaking of the food and water which the kindly inhabitants place there as a religious duty. Along the great highway of life there are such resting places; away from the heat of passion and the dust of disappointment, under the cool and refreshing shade of lowly Wisdom, are the humble, unimposing ârest-housesâ of peace, and the little, almost unnoticed, byways of blessedness, where alone the weary and footsore can find strength and healing.

- King of Mind, Body, and Circumstance
123,95 kr. Classics for Your Collection: goo.gl/U80LCr --------- The problem of life consists in learning how to live and figuring out how to succeed in anything you do. It is like the problem of addition or subtraction to the schoolboy. When mastered, all difficulty disappears, and the problem has vanished. All the problems of life, whether they be social, political, or religious, subsist in ignorance and wrong-living. As they are solved in the heart of each individual, they will be solved in the mass of men. The process or anything for that matter starts from you. As you learn to live rightly, learn to direct your forces and use your functions and faculties by the light of wisdom, the sum of life will be correctly done, and its mastery will put an end to all the "problems of evil." To the wise, all such problems have ceased. You will once again become the king (or queen, as it applies) of your life. Some Insights from the Book: 1. Man is the maker of happiness and misery. Further, he is the creator and perpetuator of his own happiness and misery. These things are not externally imposed; they are internal conditions. Their cause is neither deity, nor devil, nor circumstance, but Thought. They are the effects of deeds, and deeds are the visible side of thoughts. Fixed attitudes of mind determine courses of conduct, and from courses of conduct come those reactions called happiness and unhappiness. 2. That small-minded, and this large-hearted, man live in two different worlds, though they be neighbours. Their consciousness embraces totally different principles. Their actions are each the reverse of the other. Their moral insight is contrary. They each look out upon a different order of things. 3. Man has all power within the world of his own mind, to purify and perfect it; but his power in the outer world of other minds is subject and limited. This is made plain when we reflect that each finds himself in a world of men and things, a unit amongst myriads of similar units. Scroll Up and Get Your Copy!
