- The Art of Relaxation
118,95 kr. Drawing on his work as a chiropractor and psychotherapist Regardie saw the devastating effects that tension and stress had on his patients minds and bodies. He shares his extensive knowledge about the body/mind in this work, and helps the reader to reconnect the body with the mind as he/she learns to relax and harmonize these "two" seeming warring entities."Be yourself!" When you relax you are more nearly yourself than at any other time. You will come to realize what you are and what your innate abilities are. By means of the imagination utilized during this state of quiet, you will learn how to make them explicit and how to make them manifest themselves." -Israel Regardie

- An Outline of the Qabalah
358,95 kr. A GARDEN OF POMEGRANATES An Outline of the Qabalah By Israel Regardie WHAT IS THE TREE OF LIFE? It s the ground plan of the Qabalistic system a set of symbols used since ancient times to study the Universe. The Tree of Life is a geometric arrangement of ten sephiroth, or spheres, each of which is associated with a different archetypal idea, and 22 paths which connect the spheres. This system of primal correspondences has been found the most efficient plan ever devised to classify and organize the characteristics of the self. Israel Regardie has written one of the best and most lucid introductions to the Qabalah. A GARDEN OF POMEGRANATES combines Regardie s own studies with his notes on the works of Aleister Crowley, A. E. Waites, Eliphas Levi and D.H. Lawrence. The many diagrams and tables of definitions and correspondences are designed to simplify the student s grasp of the complex system and provide a guide to its symbolism. No longer is the wisdom of the Qabalah to be held secret! The needs of today place the burden of growth upon each and every person each has to undertake the Path as his or her own responsibility, but every help is given in the most ancient and yet most modern teaching here to humankind.

- An Introduction to Aleister Crowley's Essays on the Psychology of Hashish
313,95 kr. Israel Regardie is one of the most important figures in the twentieth century development of what many have termed the Western esoteric tradition, which normally refers to the synthesis accomplished by MacGregor Mathers within the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn during the 1890s. Among those who proceeded to explore and build among this tradition are Israel Regardie and Aleister Crowley. In this 1968 classic, Regardie prefaces and expands upon Crowley's discovery that drugs initiate and stimulate the mystical state, providing the reader with a backgroud to Crowley's The Herb Dangerous. The English poet and mystic, Aleister Crowley had produced a series of ten large magazine-like volumes with board covers entitled The Equinox. The intention was to publish a separate issue every Spring and Autumn for five years making ten numbers in all. Openly published in them were his superbly written essays on the psychology of hashish. These were his earliest overt admissions to the occasional use of hashish as a psychedelic agent. The first four issues of this periodical contained an important serial entitled The Herb Dangerous. The opening essay, The Pharmacy of Hashish, by an English chemist, E Whineray, was a clinical and chemical analysis of Cannabis Indica, whose first cousin is marijuana, Cannabis Sattiva. The second essay entitled The Psychology of Hashish was written by Oliver Haddo, one of the innumerable pseudonyms used by Aleister Crowley. It was succeeded in the third issue by The Poem of Hashish, written by Charles Baudelaire, and translated beautifully from the French by Crowley himself. The final installment of the serial consisted of selections from a fantastic piece of writing by H G Ludlow entitled The Hashish Eater. Easily a rival to de Quincy's Confessions of an Opium Eater, Ludlow's book was published by Harpers (New York, 1857). These four essays comprise the main body of this text.

- The Unlimited Power of Prayer and Visualization
138,95 kr. The Art of True Healing details a powerful exercise that stimulates the body, mind, and spirit to help us create physical health and personal success. Originally published in 1932, predating by more than a half century the current interest in the mind's power to heal, this concise work guides readers through what Israel Regardie calls the Middle Pillar meditation - a technique that combines the mystical concepts of yoga's chakras and the Kabbalah's Tree of Life to create a simple and effective healing tool. In this edition, editor Marc Allen brings Regardie's work into the twenty-first century - showing us how to unleash energy to heal our bodies and, ultimately, every part of our lives. Like few books before or since, The Art of True Healing provides both the theory and practices necessary for attaining well-being and fulfillment.
