This book includes complete melodies as well as substantial segments of uncomplicated, famous traditional folk songs from 30 different countries. Their goal was to assist you in acquainting your students with the musical traditions of diverse nations and cultures.I use numbers above the classic notes because most modern tongue drums have numbers engraved or painted on their keys. This is great for the absolute beginner who cannot read sheet music.Because most tongue drums include and are tuned to involve the notes of the main octave, all songs from this book are possible to play in one octave. The songs which have been collected in this book can be played on most drum models. Attention: Songs have been transposed for a DIATONIC range. Some melodies might be changed and simplified. If you have flat keys on your instrument, I recommended you to use the classic sheet music for piano.ContentsIntroductionA Ram Sam Sam - Moroccan Folk SongAhrirang - Korean SongAnile, Anile - Indian Tamil SongAu Clair de la Lune - French Folk SongBound for South Australia - Australian Folk SongBim Bum Biddy - American SongChe Che Koolay - Ghanian Folk SonCumpleaños Feliz! - Colombian Song¿Dónde Están las Llaves? - Spanish Folk SongDebka Hora - Hebrew SongEpo I Tai Tai e - New Zealand Maori SongFrère Jacques - French SongGiro Giro Tondo - Italian Folk SongGretel, Pastetel - German SongHotaru Koi - Japanese Folk SongKalinka - Russian Folk SongKanzenzenze - Congolese Folk SongKum Ba Yah -African American SpiritualKum Bachur - Atzel Jewish SongLa Cucaracha - Mexican SongLost My Gold Ring - Jamaican Folk SongMein Hut - German SongPounto to Dakhtilidy - Greek Folk SongSingapura, Oh Singapura - Singaporean SongThe Grand Old Duke of York - English Folk SongTongo - Song from Samoa (Polynesia)Un Petit Cochon - French SongVous Diraije Maman - French SongZhao Peng You (Looking looking for my friend) - Chinese SongZimbole - African Song

All mantras collected in this book originate from Hinduism. Music has a foundational place in Hindu mythology. It has played a role in the worship of deities and saints, and even in a non-religious context, such as yoga, meditation, and spiritual self-transformation. Also if are interested in Indian culture, playing mantras will evoke a deep resonance in your heart. This songbook is suitable for any keyboard musical instrument: piano, synthesizer, accordion, melodica, even for percussion instruments such as xylophone or marimba. This book is for adults who are absolute beginners in music. You don't have to read sheet music or have any kind of musical background. If you are a beginner, playing by notes can be difficult. It is easier to begin to play by following letters. You just need to get and apply stickers with the note letters on your piano keys. Also, I added a QR code to all songs. Follow the link and listen to the rhythm before beginning to play.ContentsAyodhya Vasi RamDevi Devi Devi Yagan MohiniGauri Gauri Gange RajeshwariGayatri MantraGovinda Jaya JayaGuru BrahmaHara Hara MahadevaHare KrishnaHari Hari BolJai Radha Madhav KunjabihariJaya Durga KaliJaya GurudevJaya Ho MataJyota Se JyotaKali Durgai Namo NamahLokah Samastah Sukhino BhavantuMaha Mrityunjaya MantraNamah Kirtan - Jaya GuruNamosthuteNarayanaOm Aim Hrim Klim Chamundaye Viche NamahaOm Asatoma Sat GamayaOm BhagavanOm Mata KaliOm Namah ShivayaOm Namo Bhagavate SivanandayaOm Shakti OmOm Shri Durgayai NamahaRama BoloShankara KarunakaraShiva ShankaraShiva Shiva MahadevaShiva Shiva ShambhoShivananda Namah OmShivaya Parameshwaraya

The songs in this book have been adapted and can be played on all models of popular wooden xylophone, metal glockenspiel (metallophone), or resonator blocks. Even a simple kids' xylophone will be adequate to play most of these songs. Some songs here have been simplified for beginners. This book is aimed at those new to music and musical instruments and I put letter notation above the notes to make it possible for you to confidently begin playing.Since African music assumes improvisation and variation, I recommend using this sheet music only as a guide. The most important thing is to listen and repeat the recordings linked to the QR code, so you can listen to the rhythm before beginning to play.Contents:Amawole - CongoAskari Eee - TanzaniaAtadwe - GhanaBanaha - CongoBanuwa - LiberiaBebe Moke - CongoBefore Dinner - CongoBilanga Na Ngai - CongoChe Che Koolay - GhanaCoco Laye-Laye - CongoDo Do Ki Do - CameroonEh Soom Boo Kawaya - NigeriaErile Baboye - South AfricaFamba Naye - ZimbabweFunga Alafia - GhanaIro Ye - BeninKanzenzenze - CongoKokoleoko - LiberiaKotiko - CongoKuya Mbio - TanzaniaL'abe igi Orombo - NigeriaMakun - MaliManamolela - South AfricaMayo Nafwa - ZambiaMbele Mama - South AfricaNing Wendete - KenyaNoyana - South AfricaObwisana - GhanaOlélé Moliba Makasi - CongoPlouf Tizen Tizen - AlgeriaSansa Kroma - GhanaSélinguenia - KenyaShosholoza - South AfricaSi Ma Ma Ka - GhanaSi Si Kumbale - South AfricaSindi - Burkina FasoSiyahamba - South AfricaSiyanibingelela - South AfricaStick Passing Song - UgandaTue Tue - GhanaUmele - South AfricaWa Wa Wa - CongoWelcome Song - UgandaZimbole - South AfricaZomina - Togo

I call this series "Read by Picture" since I am targeting little readers. I offer the easiest way to make reading books with children a pleasure, even for those children who listen to reading reluctantly. With the usual type of reading, a child is a passive listener, while with "reading by picture", he or she becomes an active participant.Although children may have developed reading skills, they still find joy in reading passages where certain words are substituted with images, viewing it as an additional reward or a special treat. It is more important to receive such bonuses for children who are just starting to read, or for whom reading still requires effort.A small child can only voice words represented by pictures. This "reading" not only makes kids a full participant in the process but also teaches them to reconcile the words of the picture with other words in the sentence.Older children may try to read words from a vocabulary list that appears before the text. A child who has begun to read will be able to enjoy reading the entire text.If you are reading to your little one, please read slowly. Let your child think about the sentence, find the right word, and enjoy the reading process. Some words in this book are changed to pictures. Each story has a pictured vocabulary list at the beginning. The book includes 3 famous fairy tales: The Wolf and Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and the Gingerbread Man.Great book for non-English speaking children to learn and remember new words in a fun game-based reading activity.

This book was created with the intention of assisting absolute beginners, regardless of whether they are children or adults, in learning to play in a straightforward and uncomplicated manner, without requiring any knowledge of reading sheet music. For beginners, playing by following musical notes can be challenging, while it is comparatively easier to follow number-coded circles with corresponding note numbers. The primary purpose of this book is not mere reproduction, but to actively engage everyone, as music, by its very definition, involves the expression of emotional states through the use of sounds with specific frequencies and rhythms. While an indication of a song's country of origin is provided, it should be understood that many traditional cultures transcend current national borders. The language in which a song is sung holds more significance and can be utilized in multiple countries. Most songs included in this book have been simplified to accommodate beginners.Since African music often involves improvisation and variation, it is recommended to utilize this sheet music as a guide rather than a rigid framework. The most crucial aspect is to actively listen to and replicate the recordings accessible through the provided QR code.ContentsObwisanaDo Do Ki DoPlouf Tizen TizenSansa KromaA Ram Sam SamSélingueniaShosholozaKanzenzenzeZimboleBanuwaBebe MokeKumbaya, My LordSiyahambaBambaliBele MamaStick Passing SongChe Che KoolaySiyanibingelelaAtadweFunga Alafia

The steel tongue drum and the handpan are percussion musical instruments designed to help you focus on your feelings, sensations, and body. No previous training or skills are necessary to enjoy these fascinating instruments. Playing drums can relieve stress and disappointment.Because most tongue drums include and are tuned to involve the notes of the main octave, all songs from this book are possible to play in one octave. If you have less than one octave of keys on your drum, you may need to skip some songs. If you have more than 8 keys, for example, an 11- or 15-note handpan this book would be a great start to your drum experience. Yet, each tongue drum is very different, and it is impossible to accommodate songs for all kinds of tongue drums in one music book. This songbook was written to help the absolute beginner, whether child or adult learn to play in a simple and easy way that requires no knowledge of reading music. If you are a beginner, playing by note can be difficult. It is easier to follow number-coded circles with note numbers. Its main task is not to be reproduced, but to get everyone involved, since music, by definition, is the expression of emotional states with the help of sounds of a certain frequency and rhythm. An indication of the country of origin of the song in this tongue drum meditation music book is an approximation, because many traditional cultures cross current national borders. The language in which the song is sung is more important, and it can be used in various countries. Most songs have been simplified for adult beginners.Since African music assumes improvisation and variation, I recommend using this sheet music only as a guide. The most important thing is to listen and repeat the recordings linked to the QR code.

My sheet music includes fingering positions, letter-coded notation, and song lyrics for a 6-hole ocarina. Although your ocarina has just 6 holes, this small instrument can produce 10 natural notes, the full range from C to C, plus D and E of the next octave and 7 flat and sharp notes: a total of 17 notes. The fingering positions are shown in the book graphically on an image of a standard shaped ocarina with six holes. The Ocarina can produce a basic scale plus semitone notes, so you can still play more challenging chromatic melodies with it. My sheet music is based on a 6-hole ocarina tuned in C Major. It covers a pitch range from ¿5 to E6 and is capable of sharps and flats. C major 6-hole ocarina, which is the most popular model on the market. However, you can have E, F, G, B, and B-flat major ocarinas, which have different fingerings. Are you a beginner who wants to play Christmas songs, hymns, folksongs, and spirituals but have never played music or cannot read sheet music?Don't worry! With my simple, picture-based sheet music, you can start playing immediately. The songs and melodies have been adapted especially for beginners, using number-coded circles instead of musical staff or notes. The sheet music is suitable for 10-17 note kalimbas and the most modern kalimbas already have engraved numbers and letters representing the name of the notes. The notes become higher as you move away from the center and alternate from right to left. The songs cover two or three octaves and I use dots to indicate different octaves.Follow the numbers and enjoy the music!Note: Some melodies have been changed and simplified for a diatonic range. This book includes 43 Christmas and gospel songs:Away in a MangerChrist Was Born on Christmas DayDesk the HallsGo, Tell It on the MountainJingle BellsJolly Old Saint NicholasJoy to the World! The kalimba came from Africa, but it is perfectly suitable for any kind of ethnic music. The kalimba has a rather meditative quality since each sound can be observed separately. Mindful observation of playing each note can even induce a trance state in the listener.Although mantras are not typically played on the kalimba, you can have a unique spiritual experience nonetheless. If you love yoga, meditation or are interested in Indian culture, playing mantras will evoke a deep resonance in your heart. Here are 20 Indian mantras adapted for 10 and 17 key kalimbas. All songs are in easily readable diatonic arrangements with number notation. My aim is to make playing as simple as possible.Even if you don't have any musical background, you will begin to play very fast.I added a QR code to all songs. The kalimba or mbira is a traditional and typical African instrument. It consists of metal keys attached by a wooden support structure. Normally, the African mbira has 4-20 keys, but there also exist mbiras with 45 keys. One of the ethnic groups of people of Zimbabwe, the Rosvi, are called "Mbira people".Music is often associated in Africa with magic. As the African proverb says: "the spirit cannot ascend to heaven without a song".This educational book will help you begin to play music simply and easily. If you are a beginner, playing by notes can be difficult. It is easier to play the finger piano by following numbers. Learn how to play music in a quick and easy way, without knowledge of reading sheet music. My sheet music is universal and suitable for any 8-, 10- or 17- note kalimbas and mbiras.Follow the numbers and begin to play!List of 31 African songs for kalimba:1. Achta ta ta ta ta. This book is for kids or adults who are absolute beginners in music. I tried to write it as simply as possible. I use an "easy-to-play" visual aid so any beginner can play music quickly. Neither kids nor their parents have to read sheet music or have a musical background. No previous knowledge is necessary.Every song has a large and simple, letter-coded visual, along with traditional sheet music. There is a total of 22 songs and 2 options to help children to begin to play right away.PLAYING BY LETTER CIRCLEPLAY WITH THE MUSICAL STAFFThe player can first follow the circles and then repeat with the classic note symbols and staff. The helpful letters are always above the notes. There are 3 parts in this book. They are equal to 3 levels.Level 1Songs that are played in one octave. All songs here appear twice: once written with circles and the next time with classic music notes. Level 2In this part, you will find one version with both circles and notes and a more advanced version of the song with notes and musical notation.Level 3Here, the first two songs are versions of the same melody (different combinations of notes) written with circles and notes. This is important so that the beginner can see how the same melody can be played in different keys.Additionally, you find funny riddles with engaging activities to teach musical notes and symbols.Table of contentsLevel 1Mary Had a Little LambOde to JoyThe Whills on the BusJolly Old Saint NicholasTen Little FingersLondon BridgeDo You Know the Muffin Man?we Wish You a Merry ChristmasThe First NoelBrahms LullabyRow Row Your BoatItsy Bitsy SpiderSilent NightOh SusannahLevel 2Hot Cross BunsAre You Sleeping?Old McDonaldLevel 3Jingle BellsLa CucarachaYankee DoodleHappy BirthdayAmazing GraceMusic Note ValuesMusical Puzzles

You have never played music before or you cannot read sheet music, but you want to play famous and inspiring hymns and spirituals. Don't worry! You will begin to play right away. I made my pictured sheet music as simple as possible. You'll play by number-coded circles. No musical staff or notes. The easy-to-play songs and melodies were adapted especially for beginners. The melodies have been transposed to one octave and simplified. Also, the number-coded notations have been added and complex notes and symbols have been reduced. Such simplification makes it possible for people to play melodies, especially those who can't read music or who have never played music before. For tongue drums that have numbered musical notation, numbers 1 to 7 represent the keys of the diatonic major scale. All songs in this book have been written with numbers because most modern tongue drums have numbers engraved or painted on their keys. There are the following hymns and spirituals in this book:Amazing GraceBabylon's FallingBe Still My SoulChrist Was Born on Christmas DayDeck the Halls with Boughs of HollyElijah RockEvery Time I Feel the SpiritGod Is So GoodGreat Big StarsGreat DayHe's Got the Whole World in His HandsHoly, Holy, HolyI've Got Peace Like a RiverJesus Loves MeJingle BellsJolly Old Saint NicholasJoy to the World! I call this series "Read by Picture" since I are targeting little readers. I offer the easiest way to make reading books with children a pleasure, even for those children who listen to reading reluctantly. With the usual type of reading, a child is a passive listener, while with "reading by picture", he or she becomes an active participant.Even if children can already read, they are happy to read texts where some of the words are replaced by pictures and perceive it as a bonus or a prize. Includes 7 simple stories understandable and relatable for kids.Great book for non-English speaking children to learn and remember new words in a fun game-based reading activity.

Playing traditional music notes is difficult for people who have no musical knowledge. You need to know the rhythmic value of each note, its place on the staff, note duration, and combination with other notes. To be aware of all this simultaneously demands music experience and advanced skills. Nevertheless, even if you have never studied music, you can begin to play complicated melodies, and also experiment with your tongue drum in a meditative way.The steel tongue drum (aka tong drum, tank drum, gluck-o-phone, hapi drum, mandala or lotus drum) and the handpan (aka hank drum, UFO drum, zen drum) are percussion musical instruments designed to help you focus on your feelings, sensations and body. You don't need classical music training or knowledge of music theory to play them.I collect very simple and well-known songs and melodies with easy rhythms. You can begin to play in just two steps. First, you will play using circles that contain either a number, without having to consider note duration, key, or time signatures. These numbers correspond to those on the keys of your tongue drum. So you just need to follow the numbers. You can get an idea of how the song might be played by listening to the YouTube clip of the same song, which you can access with the QR code below each song. Then, if you find that you can play the song with more confidence, you can try using the second page of the same song, with the actual notes. There, the same melody is written in a traditional manner with all the necessary musical symbols. However, I simplified the melodies in this step as well, transposing the most songs for one octave, leaving the numbers under the notes. I hope that playing these simple melodies will bring you a new relaxation and meditation experience filled with a lot of joy.ContentsAlphabet SongBobby ShaftoCobbler, Mend My ShoeChumbaraDing Dong DiggiDiggiDongFive Little MonkeysHumpty DumptyI Love Little KittyJack and JillMy HatOld Mother Hub
