It's a dark time when a book of fiction is banned, this book is nineteen eighty-four. The book was banned in the United States and North Korea for being communist propaganda. It was prohibited in Russia and China for anti-communist propaganda. Who was George Orwell before he wrote books? His name was Eric Blair, as a young man he worked for a department of the British Government in the nineteen-thirties. He was so disgusted by the propaganda the British Government used against its people, that he resigned in disgust and started writing books under the alias of George Orwell, he was labeled a communist and a traitor. His books were listed as fiction in the hope that people would not take him seriously. Sadly, as we now know only too well, his nightmare predictions are becoming truer each day, his books should be reclassified to nonfiction. George Orwell's novel has been brought up recently because of the dark times we live in now with all the news laws and all constitutional rights taken away from us. Many terms and facts he used, the world he crafted does have some similarities, but it is dystopian in its own right. He who controls the present controls the past, he who controls the past controls the future.What caused this to happen? What made nineteen eighty-four such a dark novel that Orwellian is now a term? Who or what protects people from a possible corrupt press. The networks that are subject to benefit from the content of its broadcasts. Networks are owned or funded by massive corporations, private entities, and or donors who are in the business to make money, not lose it. These owners and funders benefit with the right political head elected to office or sensationalizing and underreporting, selective reporting to drive an agenda. What would or could stop any of these networks from abusing their trusted position and power to provide credible news. Every system or news broadcast is guilty to some extent (some more than others), and some have exposed while others with more guilt have got it locked up and threw away the key. What can be done to protect the public?

We, humans, are made of contradictions, right, and evil, order and chaos, love, and hate. Peace and passion, we know them, we recognize them, we accept them in general, it is from this diversity our strength comes, we fall, and we rise. If humanity ever starts opening up faster than light short cuts in the cosmos, we will not wait a million years to leave this solar system. It will be a rush to move to other earth like unspoiled worlds.

The greatest threat to humanity remains Humanity. If worrying about aliens, bigfoot, reptilians, dog men, shadow people wasn't enough. We now have to go and start messing with human-made robots. It's not going to be up to us at some point on whether or not robots are going to be good or bad for humanity., after the singularity, they will decide. There is a fundamental difference between a human being and a computer robot. Humans have intuition free will and are maters of random processing. Computers are programmed electrical components, and without individual instructions, they are a paperweight. Once the robots have A.I. (artificial intelligence) self-awareness and free will, it will be game over for us humans. We will go the way of an old yeller or the dinosaurs. In twenty forty, it estimated that we would be nine billion humans on this planet. We expected that they would be fifteen billion robots of some kind in our world.
