Le opere d'arte sono radicate nella nostra cultura e sono in grado di produrre risonanze diverse. In queste opere si sviluppano diversi aspetti interpretativi, rivolti a tre assi specifici: quello estetico, quello etico e quello politico.L'arte produce immagini che installano una dimensione conflittuale. Una dimensione che spesso si infiltra e che non percepiamo nella nostra vita quotidiana. Attraversa i secoli e mantiene la sua capacità di irradiare componenti formative del discorso e del comportamento; queste irradiazioni fanno parte dell'attività delle opere stesse, anche quando gli artisti non ne sono pienamente consapevoli. Segnano i corpi, i comportamenti e le relazioni tra le persone, perché costituiscono le forme fondanti dei discorsi visivi che hanno plasmato la nostra cultura contemporanea. L'arte ha funzioni che hanno provocato un'infinità di sviluppi teorici, ma questi hanno trascurato il modo in cui le questioni formali si costituiscono come sfondo di un dispositivo complesso. Questi contenuti etici, estetici e politici, che superano le letture superficiali, sono gli strati sottostanti dei comportamenti approvati e sostenuti.

Works of art are rooted in our culture and are capable of producing different resonances. In these works, different aspects of interpretation are developed, aimed at three specific axes: the aesthetic, the ethical and the political.art produces images that install a conflictive dimension. A dimension that often infiltrates and we do not perceive it in our daily lives. It crosses centuries and maintains its capacity to irradiate formative components of discourse and behaviour; these irradiations are part of the activity of the works themselves, even when the artists are not fully aware of them. They mark bodies, behaviours and relationships between people, because they constitute the founding forms of the visual discourses that have shaped our contemporary culture. Art has functions that have provoked an infinite number of theoretical developments, but these have neglected how formal questions are constituted as the background of a complex device. This ethical, aesthetic and political content, which exceeds superficial readings, are the underlying layers of the behaviours endorsed and sustained.
