The need to win souls or turn many to righteousness is more pressing today than in Daniel's time. If we would be wise in the Word, we would not be content with an academic knowledge of the prophecies of Daniel, but we would make that knowledge practical by giving it to others in such a way that they would turn to the Lord. The purpose of the book of Daniel is to give an historical account of the faithful Jews who lived in captivity and to show how God is in control of heaven and earth, directing the forces of nature, the destiny of nations, and the care of His people.

Before there was Paul the Apostle, there was Saul of Tarsus, the enemy of all who followed Christ and the friend of anyone who would help him in his holy war to put an end to this sect of people known as "Christians." The purpose of this study is to celebrate the ministry of Paul, the great Christian leader who ultimately viewed himself as the least important of all the apostles, and perhaps not worthy to be called an apostle at all. To that end, the book uses the Bible as the primary source to develop a chronological history of the life of Saul of Tarsus, also known by his Roman name, Paul. We will examine the account that Luke wrote of the early church as found in the book of Acts, and we will be collating references from that book along with references from the writing of Paul himself to develop a harmonious outline of the life and travels of Paul from the time he first appears on the scene until the last we hear from him just prior to his ultimate martyrdom.

Using only the Bible as a source, this book examines the last days of Jesus on the earth, from just before His triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to His post-resurrection appearances to the apostles and many other disciples. From there, the story turns to the activities of the apostles and evangelists of the early church who, motivated by their faith in the risen Lord, set out to take the gospel message "to the uttermost part of the earth" (Acts 1:8, King James Version).

There is no doubt that both chronic stress and traumatic stress can wreak havoc on a person's entire being. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that a person's life can be altered in significant ways when the signs and symptoms of stress are not recognized and responded to in appropriate ways. This booklet, designed as part of Humanizing the Badge's #CallForBackup Suicide Awareness and Prevention Campaign, will provide first responders and/or their family members the information necessary to recognize the signs and symptoms of job-related stress, especially as it relates to suicide, and also provide them with strategies that will enable them to become more resistant to stress, and better prepared to handle the stress of a traumatic incident on the job.
