198,95 kr. A private detective (Chrystostam Donnely) is trying to communicate with the wife of an award-winning archer who disappeared (Anatole Woolsey). Chrystostam was hired by Anatole's family in Britain to crack the cold case of his presumed death or disappearance, and to unearth the details of his marriage due to the family being long estranged. The wife, Fanny Cloverfield, lives a reclusive lifestyle in Portugal and is naturally gifted at cryptology. She lives in a castle-style house where her refined human qualities are well-hidden away from society. She has been hiding from implementation of the microchip implant due to a distressing personal postmillennial end times vision that caused her to flee the United States after several economic harbinger events transpired. There is a secret society helping to relay messages for her, and keep security over her residence. It is Chrys's hope that by interviewing the wife Fanny, that he can crack the cold case, prove that Anatole is still alive somewhere, and reunite the married couple. The private detective pinpoints Fanny's location with the help of a psychically-gifted investigative assistant named Estelle Conroy who calls his attention also to an obscure record album by the group The Archer's Wife called "These Fascinating Fears," held by a high school friend Anatole met through an exchange program who now lives in the United States named Michael Baker. Baker is an unsuspecting and naive musical artist who doesn't realize the accuracy of the lyrics in the album. As Chrys's team reconstructs the events, his notoriously geeky and pedantic secretary Herbert "Glick" Nottinghaur is typing up a highly imaginative and detailed investigative report in narration of what happened from the very beginning of Fanny's relationship with Anatole starting five years prior in 2005. Complicating the investigation is a "replica persona" of Fanny named Ciara Fitzpatrick who seems to inhabit her house. During the course of the investigation, Chrystostam comes to realize that some matters require thinking that goes beyond simply a cold, hard factual basis.

"Forsooth a dragon cometh too; a kind of wisdom to tally true," two teenage boys in Wisconsin wrote onto a page of song lyrics in 1992, unaware the words sounded like several verses of Book of Isaiah, Chapter 34 in the King James Version. Eighteen years later, Rolling 30's Harlem Crips gang member Darius Gant, with a dragon tattoo on his arm, shot 8 bullets into an innocent bystander near downtown Los Angeles to exact a vendetta as part of a gang war with neighboring gang "the fruit town brims." One of those two Wisconsin kids, David Bilskemper, later (and right before his name change to last name Black) became a jury member on Mr. Gant's attempted murder case- a trial involving an epic, malicious showdown of language between two startlingly different female attorneys and witness testimony from a shooting victim who almost certainly should have died. This is Mr. Black's story, a true crime personal memoir book rivaling "Blood Will Out" by Walter Kirn and in a similar stylistic genre as "My Story" by Elizabeth Smart with Chris Stewart. Part 1 of this memoir series documents the time up to the end of Gant's trial. and a few weeks thereafter. Part 2, which is to come, will document a whole other case that resulted from the Gant case. Chapter titles are phrases and lines borrowed from Mr. Black's poems prior to the case, such as Chapter Four "As Explained by Leprechaun Bob" and Chapter Six "Blast-Flattened Monsters Even the Score." Chapter Five concerns the extensive theological concerns, analogies, and implications surrounding the case replete with the writer's reflections on what had happened.

168,95 kr. Flip Dopplinger is an undercover special agent of the FBI specially requisitioned to investigate an incident involving the reclusive brilliant singer-songwriter Jeff Ahrens (known also as "Sartorious X") where Ahrens had procured a batch of "stir fry" that made his visiting friend Dietrick Marlowe (a freerunner from Berlin) smile while exiting his house and crossing his lawn. From civilian Base X surveillance there had been much concern about Marlowe smiling because no one thought that or knew that. Dopplinger's task is to investigate and at all costs figure out the secret ingredient (Ingredient X) involved in Ahren's stir fry. Dopplinger is a well-known face from being a comedy show host on TV for his day job, and his private interests include thorough objective studies in sex. During the beginning process of investigating, Flip encounters frequent interaction from various interlopers who seems strangely intent on holding and captivating his attention. One Dan Copanke, an acquaintance of Ahrens, practically sweeps over to intercede on day one, and seems overly intent on normalizing Dopplinger's mind from sexual interests and portraying Ahrens as legendary and unapproachable. Alternately, various ex-girlfriends from Jeff keep appearing to speak. From all these testimonies a picture begins to emerge of a reclusive land baron, a "Count Dracula" of the modern era with brutal intent to harm enemies, who happens to also be a musician/songwriter (flies around on brooms at night, the legends say). When Dopplinger finally catches up with Sartorious X, he finds an ordinary short and chubby man living in a small domicile who feels isolated and perplexed, but is not forthcoming about his recipe. Among the real concerns involved are intrigue over Sartorious's lover, nicknamed "Natalie of the Weeds" who may actually be a deceased early 20th century writer communicating through a warp in time. Sartorious has before experienced the success of an indie music hit with the help of "Hoofska," a big city promoter and DJ who handles the monetary end of Ahren's music-making, but whose obviously dubious methods have kept Ahrens running in the same circle interminably. Musically, Ahrens has come back from his "Erie sound" era due to the intervention of a "reverend in the mist" who dissuaded him from his life's direction, and sent him into a phase of producing "monster jams." Even a confession by Dan of telling tall tales is not enough to end government suspicion. Ahrens and Marlowe must go on a space mission in their own space ship (acquired by creative fundraising) to speak with a rogue Muslim on the run from Earth nicknamed "Farenger X" or "The Deep One" in order to acquire the legal answer to end the threat of an Islamic fatwa which hangs Dan's life in peril. In doing so, they hope to bring an end to the widespread anxiety which seems to be fueling endless suspicion and speculation.

123,95 kr. Beginning where part one left off, "The Golden Scenario" is part two of Mr. Black's personal memoir in the true crime category, "A Dragon Comes As Well" (though Part 2 is more of an educator's memoir). Thus, the narrative account of the book begins in late summer of 2011. As events after the case paralleled Isaiah chapter 34 at a personal level, and only partially, there did come a "year of recompense for the cause of Zion," (Isaiah 34:8) but also a personal situation so highly variable and uncertain, that there seemed to be no one certain practical answer in reality- with the whole procession of events marked by extraordinary phenomenon and astronomical events. The answer that the narrator of the story posits as a viable way when so many other things fall through or fall short of expectations, is in the Lord Jesus, the church, The Scriptures, and the things of God trustworthy over time, and long-lasting over generations. The personal prophetic utterance involved ("Black Sheep Rise" of The Autumn People) mirrors the Biblical prophecy in Isaiah 34, so that it can be said that the Biblical fulfillment involved is cushioned by personal fulfillment of personal prophecy which is one that mirrors Isaiah 34 vaguely or as if through a glass dimly. Isaiah chapter 34 happens to be partially past fulfilled prophecy/history and is partial future prophecy in terms of judgment upon the enemies of God's people- those who intend to destroy the church. At the end of all these things it was anticipated that -"There shall meet also Ziim and Iim, and the Satyr shall cry to his fellow, and the screech owl shall rest there, and shall find for herself a quiet dwelling" (Isaiah 34:14, 1599 Geneva Bible). Thus, the parties who before had good relations, but had been separated and torn apart would finally convene back together. Mr. Black has survived to give this account through times described where death seemed certain, and so glory be to the Lord God in the highest. Praise God that this testimony of survival to the glory of God could be given.

- A Guide to Jazz Improvisation for Those Learning to Play
148,95 kr. A training manual or primer on jazz improvisation intended for beginning to advanced student musicians, "Breaking down the Cat" combines silly anecdotal humor with historical tie-ins in a study guide for students in a discussion that goes to the level of a manifesto on American freedom and equality. The historical-constructive method of the book tries to unearth the utilitarian facets of the interaction of the jazz style in history in order to inform the approach to jazz soloing of those learning, with possible
