- A Story of Jephthah
108,95 kr. Many of us cook meals that are not satisfying and do not bring us the results we desire. The same holds true for cooking "life meals" for our children. We don't always make the right decisions or do the right things when it comes to raising our children. This book takes the Biblical story of Jephthah from the book of Judges and makes comparisons to cooking. Are we a good chef or do we cook badly when it comes to our children's welfare? Jephthah cooked a bad life meal for his daughter, yet his daughter turns it into a good life meal. Each chapter will challenge the reader to cook good "life meals" for their children by basing their recipe on Biblical principles.

My culture is Christian in nature, Biblical in belief and Christ centered in devotion. In my Christian world view, the term Antichrist comes up. The New Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible refers to the word Antichrist as "one who causes a false faith" or "one against or in place of". The meaning of the word would allow John to write "...it is the last time; and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time" I John 2:18.In the Bible there are many antichrists but there is only one, "The Antichrist" that can be applied to Revelations 16:13. Revelations 16:13 deals with the end times. It reads: "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophets." Just as there is the spirit of the Antichrist there is also the spirit of the frogs. It can be said the spirit of the three frogs are croaking in today's culture. They croak their message to disrupt, deny and defeat Christianity. In the days of Revelation 16:13 they work to destroy Israel.
