431,95 kr. The Ritual Reason Why is a book written by Charles Walker and originally published in 1868. The book explores the origins and meanings behind various religious rituals and practices, with a particular focus on the Anglican Church. Walker argues that many of these rituals have a deeper symbolic significance that is often overlooked or misunderstood by both clergy and laypeople. He draws on a wide range of historical and theological sources to support his arguments, and provides detailed explanations of the symbolism behind practices such as the sign of the cross, the use of incense, and the wearing of vestments. The book also includes a critical analysis of the Protestant Reformation and its impact on religious practices, as well as a discussion of the role of tradition and authority in the Anglican Church. Overall, The Ritual Reason Why is a thought-provoking exploration of the meaning and significance of religious rituals, and an important contribution to the ongoing debate over the role of tradition and symbolism in modern worship. This Is A New Release Of The Original 1868 Edition. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. - The Journey from Novice to Prepper
118,95 kr. Jim was never the person to be worried about worldly affairs and how it may have an effect on him until recently. Jim noticed there were a lot of disasters and rioting going on all over the world. Jim's friends had once mentioned to him about how prepared he was in the event of an emergency, but blew it off, believing that America's borders were safe and secure. What got Jim to thinking, was the events that happened during the Katrina incident and how long it took for the people effected to get help. Jim wondered how long he could hold out until help arrived. Jim mentioned this to a friend who was into being prepared for unforeseen events that may result in one having to defend for themselves. Jim was told that he needed to rely on his own preparedness, because the government would likely not be there to bail him out in times of disasters. With the help of a few good friends that were knowledgeable in the areas of prepping for disasters and survival techniques, Jim began a slow journey from being a novice to becoming an educated Prepper. This book will show you what it takes to be minimally prepared by addressing some of the following topics: -What is meant by bugging in verses bugging out? -What is a bug-out bag and what are the minimum items that should be in it? -What food supplies you should stock up and how to properly stock them? -What are caches? -How to protect yourself and your family This book covers many more topics, some of which you may have been wondering about over the years. Preparing begins now not when a major event occurs, because by then it may be too late.

228,95 kr. Alexi meets Carl in the Czech Republic to investigate rumors of vampire activity in the Carpathian Mountains. Carl hires Lexi as an interpreter although Lexi is a homophobe. They fall in love with the valley, the people, and each other. They get rid of the vampires but discover the vampires were in cahoots with the mafia, allowing them to ply their evil slave trade. The overarching problem in the valley is that the people are still living in the fourteenth century with barter as the currency of the valley.About the Author I started writing these books at seventy-five years old. It had been in my head for a long time before I caught the writing bug. Once I started, I couldn't stop. My career was as a building contractor. Once I retired, it seemed like the appropriate time to fulfill my fantasies.
