Bruno Johannsson has a degree of economics from the university of Saarland.. He was involved in research and teaching. Poetry accompanied his work from the age of seventeen. In 1976 he published the first edition of poetry in German. He performed readings in Hamburg, Bergedorf, Loccum, Vienna, Darmstadt, Leipzig, Dortmund and Bad Wörishofen. In 2022 he had an online reading with an international audience. Some of his poems can be found in the annual anthology of the Library of German Poetry in the years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2021. He received a very positive review from Prof. Lichtenberger of the Department for German Studies of the University of the Saarland.

Das Philosophenpaar im Live-Dialog über Grundfragen der Philosophie:Was ist Philosophie? Wie kann man sie abgrenzen gegenüber Wissenschaft und Religion? Kann man als Christ Philosophie betreiben? Bringt sie uns der Wahrheit wirklich näher oder handelt es nur um Spitzfindigkeiten, die das Alltagsleben belasten? Wie muss man sein Leben gestalten, welche Opfer bringen, um Erkenntnis zu erlangen? Der letzte Dialog zum Thema "Preis der Wahrheit" wurde von Radio Darmstadt aufgenommen und gesendet. Das anschließende Interview von Helmuth Müller mit dem Philosophenpaar führte ebenfalls zu einer Sendung. Come" is not just a collection of diverse poetry but a composition of poems in the four chapters "I", "ASK" "SAY" and "PRAY". Every chapter is a poem in itself. The author sees himself in the chapter "I" as man at the sea. He puts some troubling questions concerning our time in the chapter "Ask". He answers these questions with his poetic visions of the great Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in tne chapter "Say". What must men do to participate in that beautiful event? This is the subject of the last chapter "Pray".
