Season of the Heart is a book of poems written by Bobby Harrell during the youthful years of his life, late 90s and early 2000s. The poems in this collection cover a myriad of emotions, from depression, darkness, love, pain, doubt, self-worth, and other strong emotions that still affect the youth of today. Some of the poems are immature in writing style, and others seem unfinished. Bobby has not written poetry since this time of his life, and it provides a unique picture of the mindset of a youthful boy struggling to find love and belonging. A true look into the seasons of his heart from during the middle and late teenage years and into his early 20s. The hope is that some of the writings will resonate with the youth of today who may share the same feelings with the idea of encouraging them to open up. To discuss these feelings with loved ones, and people they trust. Knowing that there is light at the end of the emotional tunnels.

My wife, Cindy, and I have known Brother Bobby Harrell and his family for the past 35 years. I have known Bobby to live the life he has preached about these many years. He served our church as BOTH preacher and pastor which is a rare trait in the ministry today. We have always cherished his family''s friendship and admired his devotion to the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
