Rationality is in crisis. It does not recognize the content that has been given to it since the 17th century. Conceived as a model of life, of discipline, of objectivity, of honesty, of humanism, of truth and of progress, it has strangely shied away from this model since the very day Descartes gave it birth. Rationality is a tool of double talk, a pretext for a moral truth that is never fulfilled, because it does not believe in itself. It is a pawn in the hands of a few enlightened people who use it to take over all the spaces of the world in the name of peace, development and democracy. But rationality crosses a space without being crossed by it. It never leaves its mark. The only memory that we always have of it is fabrication, arrogance, egoism and misery. The author shows how these paradoxes, of which only rationality has the secret, are represented and deconstructed by postmodern French novelists in order to restore truth, humility and the entanglement of world cultures.

The author shows how the crisis of the Western reason, which works all the spaces of the world, is highlighted by the postmodern French novelists. Starting from the criticism of the extreme arrogance that characterizes rationality, the reflection leads to the spiritual and the entanglement of cultural singularities that are measures taken for a collective world whose humility will be the essential.

It will have been remembered that the objective in this reflection was to specify the true relations which exist between literature and existential universe. Contrary to our predecessors who have practiced simplistic, block, or even very blurred relationships, we have tried to clearly specify that there are four sources of inspiration from which writers produce their works: on the macrostructural level, we have noted that there are two of them, namely the Romanesque and the Existence. However, we also found that on the microstructural level, each of these two major sources is divided into two: from the point of view of the Romanesque, there is nothingness and nonsense; from the point of view of Exis- tence, there is the writer's life and everyone else's. The first two parts of the reflection have devoted the careful study of these four sources.
