Each visit to the pond brings new discoveries and changes, which the family discusses as they piece together the clues. Finally, the last pond visit solves the mystery. They learn that the changes they saw at the pond were a necessary part of nature called metamorphosis.At the end of the story are pictures that can be colored.The Kissy Family Adventures combine the fantasy of Mz Kissy and family with factual information.
