A Prisoner's Christianity is written for prisoners, by a pris-oner. I have spent the last eighteen years in New Jersey pris-ons, serving a thirty-year sentence for murder and theft. By God's mercy I have been a Christian for most of that time, and in one sense this book is my story. When writing about "Sin", "Repentance", "The Fight of Faith", etc., I am writing from experience. And because I have experienced these things in prison I hope I can share something with others in prison.

The nature of God is often called a "mystery." We believe He intended it to be known. Jesus said that to know Him "is life." Here we demonstrate Jesus as all the fullness of one God manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. "The LORD is one" is the cornerstone of Christianity and foundation of our faith. Too often we are being turned to Catholic history, rather than Scripture, to support the doctrine of God. We lose our boldness in a world of false religions when we take that step away from the powerful Word of God. The God of the Bible roars from the pages of The Book. Here we turn to the Bible alone as a sword of truth. Take it up confidently! This is a most powerful and necessary study for every follower of Jesus Christ.
