Um die charakteristischen Merkmale aus dem EKG mit Hilfe eines Personalcomputers zu extrahieren und in Echtzeit darzustellen, benötigen wir ein Instrumentensystem. Eines dieser Systeme basiert auf LabVIEW. LABVIEW ist eine Allzweck-Software für die virtuelle Instrumentierung. Mit LabVIEW können wir Echtzeitsysteme für die EKG-Überwachung mit sehr hoher Leistung, niedrigen Entwicklungskosten, hoher Zuverlässigkeit und Flexibilität entwickeln.
