Evil has a face, a face not seen; a face not human. Someone is murdering the members of Second Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. Pastor David Mitchell has felt the presence of evil, seen it's handiwork and is certain the intent is to destroy his ministry, his family and ultimately take his life. David is the last person to see each of the victims alive. "A Wolf Among Lambs" is the banner headline in newspapers throughout the country. The city police chief and the DA are scoring political points at Reverend Mitchell's expense. His only hope is to escape Myrtle Beach and find the person so filled with evil and hate that he might be cleared of capital murder charges. Myrtle Beach Murder is a unique story of one man's struggle against evil. The faces are human but the power behind those faces is the Evil One.

A broken marriage, a broken church, and a broken faith make a broken man. Jeff Hill's life as God's man, standing tall and preaching God's word while ministering to his flock vanished when Robyn vanished into the night. Twin Oaks is a southern town in the Pee Dee region of North Carolina that time passed by. Most of the town attends the Baptist church and they sing the old-time hymns and allow only married men to serve as deacons. They prefer their preacher to read from the King James Version, visit the old folks, and never mention politics from the pulpit. To their horror the preacher's wife "up and left him." The deacons are under pressure to fire Jeff. The Methodist pastor is in love with him, and the rich matron of the town is secretly aiding Barbara to win over Jeff. Alone and penniless, Jeff is certain that God, and the love of his life have abandoned him. But have they? God's Broken Man could be lifted from the unofficial history of many churches. Few know the truth of the sorrow, and hurt inflicted on those called Pastor. Sometimes it is deserved, sometimes not. The official church history says nothing of God's broken man with the broken heart.

Nafplio was the first capital of modern Greece from 1828 to 1834 and has been a port since antiquity. Fortifications have existed on its acropolis since at least the 3C BC. Although abandoned when Pausanias visited, the town was resettled in the early Byzantine period. After 1204 it was held in turn by the Franks, the Venetians and the Turks. All have left their mark on the surviving fortifications but it is the Venetian work that still dominates the town. This book provides an analysis and description of the town walls, the acropolis fortifications, the works defending the port and the complex of forts on the heights of Palamidi above the town. In addition it describes the early 18C Venetian gun fort at Drepanon and the castle of Thermisi.

The Greek Myths described the ancient Greeks' beliefs about their history, their ancestry and their gods. The myths were rooted in a real world, a compact physical environment of inhospitable, rugged mountains separating small agricultural plains that occupy what is now southern and central Greece. This book is an exploration of that landscape and brings the myths and their settings together in a format designed for the independent traveller.
