125,95 kr. Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism - together have all left a tremendous impact upon all of those who have lived within eastern societies. Nearly 2,500 years ago, the knowledge that was expounded by these three central teachings gave birth a unique, synergized understanding of reality. These three teachings would then go on to have lasting effects upon every single culture across east Asia. The perspective of reality that these three teachings provided ended up shaping the traditions, daily lives, hearts, and minds of all those who were raised within eastern cultures. It could be said that these three teachings host the entire cultural essence of Asia as we know it today. Although being that it has been more than two millenniums since the conception of these forms of thought; the original teachings that have been hosted within these three understandings have become forgotten over time. This natural deterioration of cultural thought makes the original essence of these teachings difficult for individuals in the modern world to understand. This has proved to be a challenge not only for the western mind but also for young Asian American growing up today. For young Asian Americans, this ever-widening cultural gap between eastern and western culture, has proved to be an arduous task for those who wish to retain parts of their cultural values. In this ever-increasingly western-viewed world, those of whom that seek to retain a piece of their cultural identity continue their struggles and frustrations in silence. These Individuals who struggle to understand their cultural heritage, since being that there is little-to-no educational direction to guide individuals, other forms of thought have become much more readily available for Individuals to adopt. With over 2,500 years of East Asia having a philosophical and collective culturally history, this loss in cultural knowledge is an unfortunate phenomenon. This unfortunate loss of cultural identity can be traced back to the natural deterioration, misinterpretation, and/or Ignorance of the following original teachings - Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucianism. This book was produced not only for Asian Americans who seek to retain apart of their cultural Identity but also for those within the modern world who wish to attain a deeper insight into the wisdom that is hidden throughout east Asia's cultural understanding. This book is an attempt to speak to individuals in the modern world, on not only on a cultural level but on a humanistic level as well. By encouraging individuals who seek to improve the richness of their lives through the development of universal wisdom. This book seeks to go more in-depth to explicitly discuss - "The Way" - in a modern context. An entirely unique understanding that was formulated and spoken throughout the whispers of eastern literature - for almost 2,000 years. As we, Humanity, continue to move forward and ever-further into the future of the modern age, the wisdom that has been shared and hosted within these three teachings, still holds relevance for the world today. It is my hope that those who pick up this book and the books to come, that they will begin their journeys to a greater awakening of the self. So for those who've lost a piece of their cultural Identity, for those who've struggled internally with themselves, and for those who've cause pain to others without fully understanding why they've done so; for the suffering of Humanity. It is my hope that you will all find and awaken to - "The Way."
