As my best friends and made our way from the spa (We received massages, facials, and mani/pedis) to the Galleria to partake in some summertime/camp shopping, my mind went to thinking about camp. Credlocke Christian Camp has two sessions: Session one is in June, and session two takes part in July. This year, my best friends and I will be attending the first session. As the limo dropped off my besties and me at the Galleria, I could not help but feel excited! After all, this summer was going to be epic!

Making our way inside of our cabin, we were bombarded with squeals and hugs from our four other cabin mates and counselor. Due to the fact that these girls and counselor were good friends of ours from camp, Hannah, Alyssa, Marley, and I began to squeal out of excitement and hug them back!As all of us unpacked and put our sleeping bags and pillows on our beds and engaged in excited chatter, I could not help but smile and feel excited! After all, I was back at a place that I considered a second home!

At CCC, it is tradition that a talent show be held after dinner Wednesday nights.As my cabin mates, best friends, counselor, and the rest of the high school campers and counselors make their way to the worship center, I think of the main reason of why I am excited about tonight. While at lunch today, Reese asked me how I would feel about singing "Finest Hour" from "Teen Witch" with him. Of course I had said yes! Not only was this one of Reese's and my favorite songs from our childhood, but I would happily sing with Reese any day.

As all of us made our way from the worship service to the cafeteria to eat a yummy Sunday lunch, I heard someone calling my name. Turning around, I blushed and smiled. It was Reese."Hi, Mer!" Reese smiled."Hi, Reese!" I smiled back. "What's up?""Nothing much, I just wanted to ask you something, that's all.""You can always ask me anything.""Cool." Reese smiled. "I was wondering if you wanted to go on a walk with me during free time this afternoon.""Just you and me?""Yes.""I would like that very much." I smiled, my heart thudding inside of my chest. "I really would."

Putting the finishing touches on her makeup, eighteen year old Mercy Alaman mentally prepares to go on stage and sings her heart out.However, this was not the only thing that was on her mind. Yesterday, Mercy and her parents were reunited with their lifelong good friends, the Hayes family. A few minutes later, the Hayes were boarding the extra large tour bus that Wesley, Mercy, and their parents would be sharing while on tour (Since Wesley and Mercy were touring together, both families had thought it would be a good idea to share the extra large tour bus).In the end, this had turned out to be such a great idea. After all, it gave both families time to spend quality time together. Due to the fact that Mercy was secretly and completely in love with Wesley, this made her quite happy.As Mercy finished getting ready and put her makeup back in its case, she could not help but smile at herself in the mirror. After all, just like this summer was going to be, tonight was going to be awesome!
