Electrochemistry is the basis of many important and modern applications and scientific developments such as nanoscale machining (fabrication of miniature devices with three dimensional control in the nanometer scale), electrochemistry at the atomic scale, scanning tunneling microscopy, transformation of energy in biological cells, selective electrodes for the determination of ions, and new kinds of electrochemical cells, batteries and fuel cells. In particular the latter point has increased the need for fundamental data of electrochemical systems in recent years, to enable academic and corporate institutions to conduct thorough and forward-thinking research.The present volume IV/9B2 comprises data on the ionic conductance of deep eutectic systems and electrolyte solutions. Definitions and an overview on theory and measurement methods are to be found in the previous volume IV/9B1.

These tables are preceded by an additional index in order to facilitate the search for specific information.The tables report molecular constants and/or, below about 5000 cm-1, assigned experimental line positions, intensities, and shape related parameters.

Volume II/26 supplements the previous compilations II/l, II/9 and II/17 of the magnetic properties of free radicals which were published in 1965, 1977-1980 and 1986-90.

The volume LB IV/15 Diffusion in Gases, Liquids, and Electrolytes is divided into three subvolumes. Part A: Gases in Gases, Liquids and their Mixtures; Part B: Liquids in Liquids and Liquid Mixtures; Part C: Ions and Electrolytes in Liquids, Electrolytes and Molten Salts.

Volume II/19 is a supplement to the previous published volumes II/4, II/6 and II/14. The four volumes II/4, II/6, II/14 and II/19 together comprise a comprehensive collection of critically evaluated data on constants of free molecules obtained by classical and modern spectroscopy which have appeared in the literature until 1989/1990.

The first two subvolumes, VII/1a and VII/1b, deal with crystallographic and structural data which give a comprehensive information on the three-dimensional structure of the nucleic acids, their folding properties, their hydrogen bonding schemes, their metal binding capabilities, their hydration and their drug complexation.

The Landolt-Boernstein subvolumes III/44A and III/44B update the existing 8 volumes III/41 about Semiconductors and contain new Data and Updates for I-VII, III-V, III-VI, IV, VI and II-VI Compounds.

Subvolume III/35A contains the nuclei 11B and 31P, subvolume III/35B contains the nuclei 19F and 15N, subvolume III/35C contains the nucleus 1H, subvolume III/35D contains the nucleus 13C, subvolume III/35E contains the nucleus 17O, and subvolume III/35G contains the nucleus 77Se.

Subvolume 27I compiles the magnetic properties of silicates and phosphates; Beyond magnetic properties, the book reviews results of neutron diffraction studies, nuclear gamma resonance, nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, transport properties, dielectric and optical data.

Volume 11 of group IV presents phase diagrams, crystallographic and thermodynamic data of ternary alloy systems. The subvolume D deals with iron systems, with part 5 considering selected systems from Fe-N-V to Fe-Ti-Zr.

This new volume, I/23, of the Landolt-Boernstein Data Collection series continues a tradition inaugurated by the late Editor-in-Chief, Professor Werner Martienssen, to provide in the style of an encyclopedia a summary of the results and ideas of Relativistic Heavy Ion Physics.

Subvolume III/35A contains the nuclei B-11 and P-31, subvolume III/35B contains the nuclei F-19 and N-15, subvolume III/35C contains the nucleus H-1, subvolume III/35D contains the nucleus C-13, subvolume III/35E contains the nucleus O-17, subvolume III/35F contains the nucleus Si-29, and subvolume III/35G contains the nucleus Se-77.

During the past three decades since the publication of the last volume on the magnetic susceptibilities of co-ordination and organometallic transition metal compounds thousands of new paramagnetic compounds of striking diversity and novelty have appeared.

Volume III/27 covers the magnetic properties of non-metallic inorganic compounds based on transition elements. It can therefore be considered as a supplement to volumes III/4 and III/12 "Magnetic and Other Properties of Magnetic Oxides and Related Compounds" which appeared in 1970 and in the period 1978 - 1982 respectively.

Volume II/19 Molecular Constants mostly from Microwave, Molecular Beam and Sub-Doppler Laser Spectroscopy is a supplement to the earlier volumes II/4, II/6 and II/14.

So volume IV/5 had to be divided into several subvolumes which cover - in alphabetical order - all binary systems of importance.
