Let us be calmin the view of thingsthat are to come.Let us close our eyes,so that we do not err,and learn to see.Let us endureuntil the great end comesand the waves subsidebefore the breezefrom seaside wafting."A volume of poetry that reveals the beauty of its structure only in a repeated reading., but then it should be possible for the attentive reader to find in all these poems his fears as well as his hopes, but also his tasks.(Prof. Dr. Sigrid Lichtenberger, University of Saarland, Department of German Studies)."Come" is not just a collection of diverse poetry but a composition of poems in the four chapters "I", "ASK" "SAY" and "PRAY". Every chapter is a poem in itself. The author sees himself in the chapter "I" as man at the sea. He puts some troubling questions concerning our time in the chapter "Ask". He answers these questions with his poetic visions of the great Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in tne chapter "Say". What must men do to participate in that beautiful event? This is the subject of the last chapter "Pray".
