Focuses on the properties of the excited states of all nuclei. In this title, the data presented are collected from all kinds of nuclear reactions, including measurements of reactions with neutrons and I-rays not yet fully considered in previous compilations. The nuclei considered also comprise nuclei far from the stability line.

This new volume, I/23, of the Landolt-Boernstein Data Collection series continues a tradition inaugurated by the late Editor-in-Chief, Professor Werner Martienssen, to provide in the style of an encyclopedia a summary of the results and ideas of Relativistic Heavy Ion Physics.

The present 2nd part of the handbook is devoted to the integration of detectors in large experiments, detectors for special applications, as well as the application of detectors in other fields like e.g.

Focuses on the properties of the excited states of all nuclei. This title provides data (energy levels, branching ratios, cross-sections, spectroscopic factors, etcetera) for nuclei with atomic numbers Z ranging from 30 (Zn) to 47 (Ag) published in 2005-2010, thus supplementing previous compilations.

The second of two volumes dedicated to nuclear binding energies and atomic masses of all nuclei, this book considers related properties like the separation energies of single nucleons, or groups of nucleons, Q-values of alpha and beta nuclear reactions, and parameters of the residual interaction between nucleons.

The Landoldt-Boernstein Data Collection has become known as a compilation of numerical data and functional relations. It will take several years before new data from the LHC starting operation in 2008 will become available to indicate new ways beyond the well established "Standard Model of Particle Physics".

The precise knowledge of production cross sections for specific radionuclides for medium energies (10 MeV to 100 GeV) of the incident particle gains ever more importance, not only for nuclear physics but also for many applications, e.g.

First of two volumes dedicated to nuclear binding energies and atomic masses of all nuclei, this work considers related properties like the separation energies of single nucleons, or groups of nucleons, Q-values of alpha and beta nuclear reactions, and parameters of the residual interaction between nucleons.

Interactions of photons and electrons with atoms, molecules, and ions are fundamental elementary processes in a wide variety of neutral or ionized gases in nature or laboratory. Volume I/17 provides cross section data and related quantitative information on the collisions of photons with atoms, electrons with atoms, and electrons with atomic ions.

The present volume I/25H is providing new data (excitation energies, spin-parities, half-lifes, branching ratios, cross-sections, spectroscopic factors, etc.) for nuclei with atomic numbers Z ranging from 54 (Xe) to 105 (Db) published in 2013-2014, thus updating previous compilations provided in the Landolt-B├╢rnstein volumes I/25A-F. The data presented are collected from all kinds of nuclear reactions, including data for nuclei far from the stability line. Since the time of collection of data for the volumes I/25A-F many new data appeared from new measurements and evaluations. The properties of excited nuclear states are of importance for scientific and practical applications. No systematic compilation of such data has been performed so far. The present compilation has been prepared by two eminent experts in the field. One of the characteristics of Landolt-B├╢rnstein is that data are evaluated before they are accepted for compilation. The idea is to present ΓÇÿbest valuesΓÇÖ which can be used with confidence by non-experts. In view of the large amount of data availablesome of the information is given only on the online platform SpringerMaterials.
