Mr. Norris considers this treatise from the nature of God and the nature of man, in several contemplations, with exercises of devotion applied to every contemplation. There being nothing of greater consequence to the highest interest of man, than the knowledge of God and himself, Mr. Norris though he could not better employ his solitude, either for his own or for the world's advantage than in exercising his contemplations upon these two great and important subjects: the nature of God and the nature of Man.
