Invitation to a Funeral

When Skye Macleod returned to her childhood boarding school as faculty, joining her two best friends, Alison and Addie, she never expected to learn one of their mentors, Ms. Clarson, had passed away unexpectedly. When their other mentor, Mrs. Davis, suspects foul play, she tasks Skye, Alison, and Addie to work out what happened. On her first day back in town, Skye literally runs into the hottest man she's ever laid eyes on. He also happens to be a police detective. Skye must figure out how to convince him to investigate Ms. Clarson's death while striving not to tear off his clothes. Amidst a falling out with Alison, a student accused of illegal activity, and Addie pushing the limits of the law, Skye learns about a secret society that may be to blame for the death. Can they save Mrs. Davis before it is too late? Will Skye and Allison overcome their differences? But most importantly, will Skye get her man?
