- Comic Magazine, No.1

indgår i Hooky serien

Bag om Hooky

Hooky Comic Magazine is a collection of comics and doodles and may include reviews of films, other comics, music, podcasts or books, some prose about being a working artist, tips on how to be a nice casual cyclist, or a description of a DIY project being undertaken in the woods outside Stockholm, Sweden. Hooky looks like a proper magazine, but it is more like a "fancy zine" which uses self-publishing tools rather than a Xerox machine to find its way out into the world. The stories in Hooky are at once goofy and thoughtful. This may be because of Luke's childhood in Canada, watching Saturday Morning cartoons and reading Mad Magazine, combined with his later life in Scandinavia, where he absorbed Tintin, Moomin and Pippi.
