Children experiencing divorce are traumatized and confused. Divorce for any reason affects the entire family and many books on the market address divorce for children, but few exist that address divorce due to alcohol abuse. These children frequently experience supervised visitation or are not permitted to visit the affected parent in their new home or apartment. Visitation may often occur in the home of the custodial parent. Children of divorce feel they are to blame for the parent's divorce, fear they are no longer loved and don't understand why the affected parent has moved out of the home. Young children frequently don't voice these fears or concern, so they go unaddressed. After finishing my education, I was confused. It seemed like making poor decisions was my favorite pastime. I needed some points to live by. At a retreat, I heard a lecture on biblical wisdom. The speaker challenged attendees to memorize Solomon's book of Proverbs. I accepted the challenge, and it paid off. While memorizing Proverbs, Solomon's dad, David, captured my attention. He lived a very full life filled with either passion or despair, with little between. I believe he faced boredom only once and paid dearly for it. He needed some points to live by. This short book gives my points to live by, using David's psalms, his son's sayings, and my application.

Dachau is a book written by the son of a member of the US Armed Forces that liberated the Dachau Concentration Camp in April, 1945. The camp ran from 1933 to 1945 and was the first Nazi concentration camp. The book traces the history of the camp from its beginnings as a detainment center for political prisoners all the way to its final iteration as a slave labor camp in which many types of prisoners were held. The story of its roots goes back to the early days of Hitler's political ambitions and his objectives for seeking power, even to the point of world domination. He was a tyrant who implemented severe racist policies and who embarked on a world war that caused great destruction across Europe. The concentration camps were a systematic strategy Hitler used to abuse and subjugate people he believed to be in the way of his world conquest and Dachau was a part of that system.The book describes in vivid detail the prison life of the detainees including the abuses they were subjected to, the hard labor they were forced to perform, their stark living conditions and the punishments they received. It also includes insights into the mentality of the inhumane SS guards who ran the facility. These troops were highly loyal to Hitler, very faithful to their training and regimentation, and cruel with every action they took. Dachau was the training center for all guards in all of the concentration camps.When US forces were finally able to liberate the camp in 1945, they faced the immense task of providing aid to over 30,000 people who spoke many different languages and who were mostly all either injured or ill. The book describes the amount of organization and help needed to assist the former prisoners in order for them to eventually go back to live in freedom and return to their countries of origin or to a country that would take them in.Finally, the book presents the current memorialization of the former camp. It has become a heavily visited site and it bears the purpose of educating visitors about its history. Also, it stands for the respect the spiritually and the reflection that goes with contemplating the amount of death and cruelty that occurred there and must be avoided by mankind going forward.It is a hope this book will present a very strong case against the evils of racism. It is also a hope that it presents the Nazi philosophy as one that cannot succeed and that should not be emulated in any respect in our modern era. The people that were persecuted by the Nazi system and the soldiers that gave their lives and their service to stop it are the heroes of this book.

Everyone loves a good story, but inside is a great story. It is the story of the Talmud's survival, despite its countless trials and tribulations in every century since the Babylonian exile.For without "hope," an individual or a nation goes into despair and after a short time, depending on one's strength of character, the will to live no longer exists, and death usually comes quickly; whether by suicide, or more slowly by refusing to eat, drink, or take care of oneself. But as long as the Jewish people had the Talmud, at least some would retain hope for better times, during which they could practice their religion in peace. But as those times were all too few and far between, it took great courage and self-sacrifice to keep the Talmud viable for future generations.So before a single section of the Talmud had been written down, its persecutions began, from the Greek Seleucids to the Roman Empire, from the Roman Catholic Church to Islam, from pagans to Jewish heretical sects, from the Russian Czars to Hitler, from individuals to nations, the persecutions of its enemies was never-ending, and we go into enough detail, so the reader, can appreciate the incredible saga of the Talmud's survival.We describe how when the Babylonian Talmud been completed, Justinian, the Roman Emperor (527-565), decreed practically its death--capital punishment to anyone who was immersed in its study.Next, the Karaites, in the 7th century, seriously threatened its existence. Time and time again, they were a stone's throw from making an end of the Talmud, and to its expositors. In the 8th and 9th centuries, Islam turned into the enemy of the Jews, and massacres, blood and fire, burnings, and exile were visited upon the adherents of the Talmud, who were deemed infidels. Assailed by the Roman Catholic church, from the time of Pope Innocent III, the Talmud was burned at the stake in virtually every century from the 12th to the 17th, in Italy, France, Germany, and Spain, to mention a few, while in the 18th century it was assailed by the Frankists, when copies in Poland were dragged through the streets of its cities, tied to horses' tails, and delivered to the executioner to be burned. Yet what has been the result? The Talmud exists to-day, and not one letter in it is missing! No modern persecutions can seriously endanger its existence any longer; the Talmud will survive them and continue as long as the sky spans the earth.In Part I, we briefly review the history of the Jews as reported in the Old Testament, until the first century CE.Part II is devoted to the structure of the Talmud; its major divisions called Orders, and subdivisions, called Tractates, each devoted to a particular area of Jewish law.In Part III, we discuss the sages-most having the title of rabbi-that put the Talmud together, and explained it, so it might be more easily understood by the average Jew. In Part IV, we tell the story of the persecutions of the Talmud and its adherents, including public burnings, confiscations, laws prohibiting Jews from studying, or forcing Jews to dispute its contents before royalty or the Roman Catholic Church-almost always with a former apostate. In the final analysis, the title, "The Indestructible Talmud," could not have been more apropos.

If there is one word which encompasses a common theme for my life, that word would be grace. Not man's restrained, conditional, and flawed grace, but God's un-restrained, un-conditional, undeserved, and flaw-less grace. In good times, God's grace covered me. In tough times, God's grace covered me. In my mistakes, God's grace covered me. Even in my shame, God's grace covered me. Scripture tells us in Ephesians 2:8, "God saved you by His grace when you believed. And, you cannot take credit for this; it is a gift from God." Accepting, and believing, that God's Word is sound and true, then I have just one question for you, "Why is it sometimes so difficult to extend the same measure of grace to the next woman, as you know that you have certainly received?" In accepting to walk in the purpose of my assignment, God is showing me that He is able to use my mess for His message-His message of the gift of His grace. If I am being transparent, I knew this task would be challenging. Challenging because I knew that self house cleaning would be inevitable. Now really, who really likes to clean? But, if we're being honest, who really needs to clean? But, who really needs to clean? As I began this process of self house cleaning, this one phrase kept ringing in my spirit, "God's glory, being revealed through you, will manifest as you practice what you preach." Those weren't just words for the moment, but those were words for a lifestyle. So, in my practice, I'm learning to stand exposed. I'm learning to be transparent. I'm learning to stand accountable in my truth. I'm learning to stand in integrity. No matter how it looks, feel, or even smell. May I share something with you? God's grace has not failed me yet. And, it never will! I am here to testify that never at any point in my life has God forgotten about me. And, guess what? I have a little secret to share with you, "God has not forgotten about you either." The same undeserved and flaw-less grace that God extends to me, is the same undeserved and flaw-less grace that He desires to extend to you as well. All He asks is that you believe in Him. Initially, it was not unveiled to me why it was that I had to expose the most vulnerable aspects of my life. However, as I continue to God-vigate my journey, God gives me, what I like to call 'snippets.' And, one of the little 'snippets' revealed to me, was that in order to make myself relatable to other women, I would actually have to be able to relate. Be relatable to the guilt that the next woman may have experienced. Be relatable to the insecurities that my fellow sister(s) may have struggled with. Be relatable to the embarrassment that may have plagued you; enough to make you want to run and hide. Or, being relatable to the shame that may have burdened you to the point where all you want to do is hang your head in disgust and disbelief. So, if that meant that I would have to go first, I am assured that God has equipped me for the journey. First to expose myself. First to stand accountable. First to be transparent. First to share the little pearls of wisdom that God's grace has allowed me to gather along the way. Little pearls of grace to walk, to stand still, to endure, to sustain, and to triumph. #TeamWelcomeToTheGraceChronicles

In this book you will learn all of the following and much more.Millions of Christians and thousands of Hebrew and Greek scholars agree that all of our early English Bible Versions accepted most of the Latin mistranslations in the Old and New Testaments. After 1864, many English versions were published with no mistranslations and no hell. They give the true gospel.Centuries before Christ, rulers in the Roman Latin territories taught the unruly pagans there was an eternal inferno waiting for the disobedient immediately after death. They used it as a fear tactic to maintain order. Thus, in Latin territories, the doctrine of eternal damnation existed centuries before the Christian faith was brought to Europe.Greek missionaries acquiesced to the pleas of the Latin clergy to continue the Latin lie of an eternal inferno in their preaching to the Latin pagans so they could continue maintaining order. That is the reason for over 280 deliberate good intention mistranslations in the 405 AD Latin Vulgate, including 75 infernos.Researchers have found many statements by early Greek fathers stating that when ministering to the Latin Church, they used Plato's Doctrine of Reserve, which holds the truth in reserve while substituting a "medicinal lie" for the better good. In this case, the better good was for the Latin Church and the Latin pagans. The medicinal lie was that eternal torment in a fiery hell awaited any who did not convert to the Catholic faith and submit to the Catholic priesthood. By the time of the Protestant Reformation, these "medicinal lies" had become established doctrine. We explain the gruesome details of how that happened. The early Protestant reformers innocently accepted most of the Latin mistranslations. These are in our early Protestant Bibles, but not in many later Bibles that have been translated with the aid of hundreds of whole and partial manuscripts discovered after the King James Bible was published.Records show the Greeks taught the true gospel with no hell in the Greek speaking territories. Any who dared to preach it in Latin territories after the 553 AD Edict of Justinian were labeled as heretics, tortured and killed. After 622 AD, the Muslims slaughtered countless Greek Gospel believers and destroyed all of their Bibles and literature they could find. That and the Roman wars against the Greek Gospel made the eternal hell teaching dominate.The number of hells in many Bibles range between 13 to 88. Many Bibles since 1864 have no mistranslations and no hell, restoring the true image of God.
